Giveaway & Competition Policy

This policy governs all competitions, prize draws, and giveaways run by Kearney FM through our website, on-air broadcasts, and social media platforms.

1. Eligibility

• Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 or over unless stated otherwise.
• Employees of Kearney FM, their immediate families, or anyone directly connected with the running of a competition are not eligible to enter.
• Only one entry per person per competition is allowed unless specified.

2. Entry

• Entry instructions will be clearly stated on our Competitions & Giveaways page at kearneyfmradio.co.uk/pages/our-competitions-giveaways.
• No purchase is necessary unless stated otherwise.
• Entries received after the specified closing date will not be accepted.
• Incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent entries will be disqualified.

3. Prizes

• Prizes will be clearly described and may include items such as vouchers, tickets, merchandise, or promotional services.
• Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Where a business advertisement is offered as a prize, it will be subject to our standard advertising terms.
• Kearney FM reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

4. Winners

• Winners will be chosen at random or by an impartial judge, depending on the nature of the competition.
• Winners will be contacted via email, phone, or social media. If no response is received within 7 days, a new winner may be selected.
• The decision of Kearney FM is final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding competition outcomes.

5. Publicity

• By entering a competition, entrants agree that their name may be announced publicly (e.g., on-air or on our website/social media) if they win.
• Winners may be asked to participate in promotional activity, including photos or interviews.

6. Data Protection

• Personal information provided for competition entry will be used solely for administration and prize fulfilment.
• We will not share your data with third parties without your consent.

7. Disqualification

• Kearney FM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of cheating, tampering, or breaching these terms.
• Abuse or misuse of the competition process will result in removal from current and future competitions.

8. Changes and Cancellations

• We reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or amend any competition or these terms and conditions where it becomes necessary to do so.
