Officers are appealing for the public’s help to locate a missing boy from South Tyneside.
Leighton Carr, 14, was last seen in the Gateshead area at around 7pm yesterday (Friday).
Police and Leighton’s family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
Leighton is described as a white male, 5ft 6ins tall, with short brown hair.
He’s believed to be wearing a black Under Armour cap with white logo, dark grey Berghaus puffa jacket, black tracksuit bottoms, grey t-shirt and black and grey Nike 95 trainers.
Leighton, or anyone who knows where he might be, should contact Northumbria Police by sending a direct message on social media or using the live chat function on the Force’s website.
