Officers appeal for help to find missing boy

Police are appealing for information to help locate a missing Newcastle boy.

Riad Alhilal, aged 12, was last seen at the entrance to Eldon Square, off Blackett Street in Newcastle city centre, just before 7pm yesterday (Friday).

Extensive enquiries are ongoing to locate Riad.

He is described as Asian, about 5ft 3in tall and of slim build.

Riad has dark hair which is short at the back and sides but thick on top.

He was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket and black trainers.

Anyone with information on Riad’s whereabouts should contact Northumbria Police either by sending a direct message on social media or using the live chat or report forms on the Force website.
