Police are appealing for information to help locate a missing man from Newcastle.
Twenty-year-old Zakaria Chowdhury, who also goes by Zak, was last seen at around 2.30am today (Friday) in Newcastle city centre.
Officers and his family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare – and are calling on anyone who may know where he is to contact them.
Zak is described as an Asian male, around 6ft tall, of slim build with dark hair.
He was last seen wearing a navy-blue Hugo Boss hooded top with gold stripes on the arm and hood, black joggers and black trainers with red stripes.
He has links to the Whitley Bay area of North Tyneside, as well as Sunderland.
Zak, or anyone who knows where he might be, should contact Northumbria Police by sending a direct message on social media or using the live chat function on the Force’s website.
Those who are unable to contact the Force via those ways, call 101.
