Police Urgently Seek Injured Man Following Grangetown Assault

Cleveland Police are urgently searching for a man believed to have sustained “significant injuries” during an assault in Grangetown, Redcar and Cleveland.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, at around 2:15 BST, on Eversham Road. Officers were called to the scene following reports of an attack.

A 43-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and affray. However, the victim had left the scene before officers arrived, prompting concerns for his safety and well-being.

A police spokesperson said: “Officers need to ensure that he is safe and has received medical treatment.”

The victim is described as a man in his 20s, last seen wearing a white coat.
